Marketing Challenge:  The community’s location was a big challenge when it was launched in 2007. Apollo Beach was a sleepy, southern town with a lot of charm, but not much else. In order to attract builders and buyers, we had to promise a more exciting lifestyle for a much more affordable price than communities in Tampa. We worked with the development team to put in the core amenities as soon as possible and developed a robust activity program. Despite the downturn in 2008, the community was able to continue to sell homes at a decent pace and it is now the #1 selling community in the Tampa region.
