VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGY

Alex contributes over 25 years of marketing experience to the team. He has worked on a variety of categories such as behavioral change, government, retail and branding and multicultural. He has managed the the development integrated communication programs which included digital and traditional campaigns. Under his direction, Alex ensures that campaigns are strategically focused and effectively managed.

Alex’s experience includes developing strategic integrated communication programs that include social marketing, brand identity, collateral and print, public relations, social media, media planning & buying and video. Alex was responsible for successfully leading LAX’s public education initiative for the modernization of Los Angeles World Airports (LAX). In addition, Alex has led social marketing campaigns for Medicare & Medicaid, First 5 California and California Anti-tobacco. His experience in the corporate sector includes Southern California Gas, Walmart, Nike, Wells Fargo, and more. He also has extensive experience in multicultural marketing and understands the importance of maintaining a single strategy to all target audiences, regardless of language.

Alex is a graduate of California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration. He serves on the Board of Directors for Coalition for Educational Development and on the communications committee for JVS SoCal, in which he’s working on creating a new positioning and branding for the organization. He’s an active member and ambassador of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; additionally, he’s the chair for Westside Connect where he mentors marketing professionals and at-risk youth.
